Once upon a time they had a great music store called Hjomallind (if memory serves) but I heard they closed up shop several years ago---too bad, too as they were awesome. I discovered Trans Am there back in 2000 as well as some other tasty beats. Fortunately they have some online samples at the site and you can order from here:

Yes, Iceland is amazing, and I love Reykjavijk. Once upon a time they had a great music store called Hjomallind (if memory serves) but I heard they closed up shop several years ago—too bad, too as they were awesome. I discovered Trans Am there back in 2000 as well as some other tasty beats.

From all accounts (including your own) the music coming from iceland sounds much like the place itself. "Hauntingly Beautiful" gets tossed around alot.
