If the name Monica Vitti doesn’t tell you everything you need to know about La Ragazza con la Pistola, then perhaps you need a bit more nudging from the trailer (below) which features a VERY groovy soundtrack indeed. Composer Peppino Di Luca brings a whole truckload of groovy to this film and some of us could watch Monica Vitti do nothing more than read from the Italian version of the Yellow Pages (the Giallo Pages, perhaps?) for three hours…so this should be a no brainer.
