New Vinyl LPs at Turntabling

Turntabling has some awesome new additions for sale including a metric TON of Italian soundtracks on vinyl, plus some collections of soundtrack sounds like the Piomobo Rovente LP collection pictured here.

Piomobo Rovente, released on Plastic Records, is crammed full of essential sounds by Francesco de Masi, Pulsar, and Guido E Maurizio De Angelis. This vinyl record has names longtime Italian soundtrack lovers will be pleased with–newcomers to this genre should definitely get to know the composers represented on this record. See below for some YouTube clips from this LP you won’t want to miss.

Piomobo Rovente has cuts from a variety of Italian police thrillers including Napoli Spara, two from La Polizia Incrimina, La Legge Assolve, three from Roma Violenta, quite a few from La Macchina Della Violenza, and one track each from Milano Violenta, Roma A Mano Armata, and La Poliziotta Fa Carriera.

You can buy Piomobo Rovente from Turntabling--first come, first served!

Don’t miss it, it likely won’t be around long. Plastic Records is another one of those Italian labels we like to grab whenever we can find their material. They’re just as awesome as Right Tempo/Easy Tempo, Dagored and Cinevox as far as Turntabling is concerned.

This is just one of the rare, cool, hard-to-find, and just plain awesome records we’ve found while scouring the earth for the right kinds of records. Other recent additions for sale include the awesome reissue of Marshall McLuhan’s The Medium is the Massage LP by Five Day Weekend Records.

Five Day Weekend did us ALL a favor by reissuing this LP in all its dated, 60s glory. Make no mistake, “dated” in this context is TOTALLY awesome. There’s nothing like some of these crazy 60s-era sonic experiments, and I highly recommend picking this up if you’re a fan of stuff like the Modcinema.com DVDs Colorspace Volume One, Colorshopping, etc.

Released in 1968, you can get a fascinating look at what media theorists and manipulators were thinking about mass media way back then. Compare it to today’s musings about social media, Google, and other issues and you’ll draw some very interesting parallels.

This was quite a rarity in its original form–it did make it to CD but the real way to experience this is on that turntable rotating at 33 1/3 per minute. You can buy The Medium Is the Massage by Marshall McLuhan on a first-come, first served basis at Turntabling. When it’s gone…

Also just in, the Ennio Morricone soundtrack LP for Le Foto Proibite Di Una Signora Per Bene (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) issued on Dagored, plus a CD copy of the Nico Fidenco soundtrack for Blue Jeans.

Turntabling has gotten a fair amount of CDs in stock over the last few weeks–are you interested in Italian soundtrack music on CD? Eurohorror? Crime and thriller soundtrack sounds? If so, you’ll want to check out the compilation CD Roma Violenta (La Cinevox Si Incazza) or Tecnica Di Un Omicidio / Quella Carogna Dell’Ispettore Sterling (Colonne Sonore Originali / Edizione Speciale) by Robby Poitevin.

There’s more–SO much more–at the Turntabling Discogs shop on vinyl and on compact discs.

Have a look and don’t hesitate to get in touch with any questions. We’re happy to help! Also, don’t forget that Turntabling buys record collections–if you want to sell us yours, get in touch with us via e-mail: jwallace242 at gmail. We buy soundtracks, horror film-related vinyl, electronic music, goth and industrial sounds, post-punk and punk. We DO NOT BUY show tunes, Broadway, classical, hip hop made after 1992, 80s and 90s metal or country.

We will travel to review collections under the right circumstances–we DO buy ENTIRE COLLECTIONS when warranted, but we are also willing to make smaller offers on portions of a collection if you prefer.

Get in touch to learn more about our buying policies and current needs and thank you very much for your interest.
