Ennio Morricone Quentin Tarantino Trilogy Soundtrack CD

Ennio-Morricone-Quentin-Tarantino-Trilogy soundtrack CD Kind of Blue Records

Now selling at Turntabling; The Ennio Morricone Quentin Tarantino trilogy. Thrill to the Morricone sounds heard in Kill Bill 2, Death Proof, and Inglorious Basterds. Some of the greatest work the maestro has ever done–and it’s a shame that he hasn’t been brought on board to do an original score for a Tarantino flick, but until that day (if it ever comes) this will do nicely, thank you.

This 12-track collection features the outstanding Mystic and Severe, plus Paranoia Prima and Algiers November 1954. I know plenty of Turntabling readers out there aren’t exactly Tarantino fanboys, but there’s no arguing with the maestro–Morricone is the bomb no matter what packaging his work comes in.

Ennio Morricone: Quentin Tarantino Movies is a brand new, sealed import from Switzerland. Get it now while supplies last for $16.00 plus shipping. Overseas shipping is $13.

Four Flies On Grey Velvet LP BACK IN STOCK

Four Flies on Grey Velvet soundtrack vinyl LP Morricone

BACK IN STOCK at Turntabling

Morricone really outdoes himself on this one. From the proggy jam on the opening titles, to the trippy, echo-laden sounds and creepy atmospheres later in the album, Four Flies On Grey Velvet is definitely a keeper of a record, no matter what you might think of the movie itself.

Some feel Four Flies on Grey Velvet is a weak entry by Argento, but the quirky characters and the fact that Morricone’s score threatens to become a character in the movie itself gives this one a special, left-of center place in the Turntabling 70s movie hall of fame. It’s become one of our favorites.

The movie is atmospheric, creepy, and has some really excellent, moody set pieces. We can’t say enough about Morricone’s music on this one–there’s a haunted quality about it that lends plenty to the film–in lesser hands, who knows?

The soundtrack is presented here in a beautiful gatefold sleeve and is pressed on glorious 180 gram vinyl. Buy the Four Flies On Grey Velvet OST vinyl LP for $29.00 plus shipping while supplies last. This is an imported, sealed vinyl album pressed in 2001 on Dagored.

Have a look at the trailer for Four Flies On Grey Velvet. We recommend watching this movie late at night in a darkened room. We tried it in the daytime, and it just doesn’t work the same way…

Bauhaus The Sky’s Gone Out Vinyl LP

bauhaus vinyl LP The Sky's Gone Out

Now selling on Turntabling: the 4 Men With Beards 180 gram vinyl reissue of the legendary Bauhaus LP, The Sky’s Gone Out. This is one hell of a record, and deserves to be heard in all its’ analog glory. For those who don’t remember, this is the album featuring the Bauhaus hyperactive cover of Eno’s Third Uncle plus Swing The Heartache and the lovely Silent Hedges.

A lot of people think of Bauhaus only long enough to snort, “Bela Lugosi’s Dead” but there was so much more to the band than that…especially when Daniel Ash, David J and Kevin Haskins take over and start pushing things into outer space. Before there was a Tones On Tail, there was this…and it’s an amazing listen these decades later.

This Bauhaus The Sky’s Gone Out vinyl LP is a brand new, shrinkwrapped album pressed on 180 gram vinyl. It’s on sale for $25 plus shipping. Overseas postage is $16.

It’s true. Since Turntabling has started making the rounds at horror conventions and smaller shows, the demand for tasty, tasty vinyl soundtracks and related goodness seems to have gone way up–at least round here. So I’m happy to announce that I’m in the market for vinyl collections large and small.

What we’re looking for: horror and cult movie soundtracks (just like you see selling here), Morricone, 60s and 70s softcore and euro sleaze soundtracks, French pop, disco cheese from all countries, new wave/post punk from all countries, and anything on WaxTtrax! or Mute records.

Also, anything bizarre or unusual is especially sought after. If you aren’t sure where your records fit into our want list, drop a line (see below) and we can work something out.

What we’re NOT looking for: Country, show tunes, butt rock (Journey, Scorpions, Autograph, Survivor, you get the idea) metal, classic rock, etc.

You can get in touch directly by dropping me a line at jwallace242 (at) gmail dot com. Please include a list of your titles, where you’re located, prices, etc. I’m buying large and small collections so don’t be shy.
