Morricone Il Serpente Soundtrack CD

Morricone Il Serpente soundtrack Dagored

Ennio Morricone’s soundtrack for Il Serpente is just plain awesome. Many sides of the Morricone canon are represented well here–the sentimental, sweeping motifs he’s known for on films like La Donna Invisible, but the thriller sounds–discordant strings and experimental clatter also get a good look in. And then there’s the classic Ennio Morricone Italian lounge-pop freakout sound complete with waka-waka-waka guitars and a hyperactive rhythm section.

Il Serpente is definitely worth a listen or six–it’s rapidly becoming a repeated player on the Turntabling sound system and is not as easy to find as you might think. We have limited copies–order yours today to avoid missing out on this classic slab of Morricone goodness.

Il Serpente is a sealed, imported compact disc released on Dagored. Buy it now from Turntabling for $21 plus shipping.

Goblin Volume II 1975-1980 CD

Goblin Volume II Greatest Hits Now on sale at Turntabling! This is hands down one of our most popular items when we set up the Turntabling booth at horror movie marathons and festivals. Goblin Volume II features a compilation of tracks from Profundo Rosso, Suspiria, Contamination and others.

Goblin is one of those groups you either love or hate–we’re squarely in the “love” category and this CD is a great way to find out why. If you love Argento, Luigi Cozzi or any of the other splattery Italian horror directors, Goblin is sure to be a favorite of yours if they aren’t already. Give them a listen and you’ll see why. Just a few of our reasons include analog synths, groovy prog song structures that would make ELP cry in their granola, and a gloriously off-kilter songwriting mentality that serves the movies these songs show up in quite well.

Goblin Volume II 1975-1980 is a great companion disc to the first volume, which we are currently sold out of. More of those are on the way, but you don’t need Volume One to fully appreciate Goblin Volume II. You can buy this brand new, shrink-wrapped Goblin Greatest Hits Volume II CD from Turntabling for $14.00 plus shipping.
