I’ve been experimenting with some vids on YouTube for Turntabling with an eye on making a little series on obscure vinyl records, WTF albums and much more. So far the results have been mildly amusing but the idea seems to be getting a life of its own.
The Turntabling YouTube channel is the place where you can see some of these (mercifully) short commentaries on vinyl, the vinyl lifestyle and more. With a little luck this is the start of something long-term once we work the bugs out.
You can also watch the one just posted, embedded below for your convenience. It’s still a long way from being 100% super happy funtime, but it seems to be moving along in the right direction.

This video we discovered on YouTube (not produced by Turntabling) is full of familiar clinkers, but there are a few surprises lurking in here..include the Col. Sanders album Tijuana Picnic. Yes, THAT Col. Sanders. You’ll wish it was a MARIJUANA picnic instead…revel in the awfulness.
I’m not sure what The Ritchie Family are trying to say with this album cover. I’m not sure THEY know, either.
This could be a statement of solidarity with gay bikers, or it could express a need to be surrounded by oiled body builders. Understandable. But the inclusion of the dog disturbs me greatly on levels I can’t fully express here. Let’s leave it at that, shall we?
